When the neighbors also asked them to show the search warrant and authorization letter, the matter started looking completely suspicious.

Fake notice sent on WhatsApp

According to the complaint, the people who reached the house were wearing clothes with CBI logo. He was also hanging a fake identity card around his neck. To create pressure, they sent a notice through WhatsApp on the mobile phone of the businessman’s father. This notice also had the name and alleged signature of the CBI Director. Although he deleted that message after some time, the family immediately took a screenshot of it.

When the family members and neighbors demanded to show the hard copy of that notice, the suspects started making excuses. He said that the paper was kept in the car and he would bring it. After this, everyone silently ran away from there in their car. Immediately after his departure, the family dialed 112 and informed the police.

CCTV footage also examined

The entire incident has been recorded in the CCTV cameras installed around the house. The family has demanded police to investigate the matter and take action. Police are now examining CCTV footage, notices sent on WhatsApp and other evidence.
