Jharkhand government has decided to cancel all the examinations including JPSC CGL related to TDPL. Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that considering all aspects of the case, it has been decided to cancel everything related to TDPL. This includes examinations conducted, results released, candidates selected and appeared in the examination as well as all other activities undertaken by TDPL.

After this decision, while talking to Aaj Tak, Devendra Mehto, who is fasting, demanded the government to make such a system in which there is no possibility of getting a job on the basis of paper leak, rigging and lobbying. He said that in the past also he has seen many examinations being canceled and cases being investigated.

Devendra Mehto said that he is not satisfied with the mere cancellation of the paper or investigation, but wants a guarantee from the government that the paper will not be leaked in future. He demanded that such a strong system should be made for the recruitment process, so that transparency is maintained in the examinations and there is no rigging of any kind.

He said that the government took the issues of the students seriously and fulfilled their demands. He said that when their problems are resolved and demands are met, there will be no need to protest further.

Awaiting official notice

Mahato said that at present they are waiting for the official notice. He said that many times in his life he has seen CBI or CID investigation being ordered and later being cancelled. Therefore, they need a system by which the government can guarantee that paper leaks and rigging will not happen again in future. He said that the students will cooperate in this effort of the government and hope that the government will also continue to support them in the same way.
