Actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has clarified her controversial statement on ‘Gen Z’ youth. Kangana shared a video on Instagram Story and claimed that the youth of the entire country were not involved in the demonstration at Jantar Mantar.

Of the crowd of 10 thousand gathered there, half were youth, while the rest were people of Shabana Azmi’s age. Kangana said that it was not her intention to call the entire generation ‘gutter imprint’ and a false agenda of being anti-youth is being pushed on them.

There were 2 thousand youth at Jantar Mantar, Shabana Azmi’s name dragged Kangana Ranaut said in the video that the Gen Z population in the country is around 30 to 35 crores. Only around 10 thousand people were present in the demonstration at Jantar Mantar. He claimed that people of all ages were roaming at the protest site and more than half of the crowd was of Shabana Azmi’s age.

Kangana challenged and said that someone should show such a statement of hers in which she has targeted the entire young generation. He said that he himself is young, not 50 years old like Rahul Gandhi.

There was controversy over calling it ‘generation gutter’ Earlier, Kangana had strongly criticized the protesting youth. He talked about vomiting after watching the video of the protest and raised questions on the language of the people present there.

Kangana had called such protesters ‘generation gutter’. He had given the statement that these youth have nothing to give to the system and they are also not good at studies. After this statement, he was heavily criticized on social media and in political circles.

Now said- If you call yourself a cockroach then the gutter will be your home. After the uproar over her statement, Kangana, while talking to ANI, had argued that the protesters were calling themselves cockroaches. He had said that the home of a cockroach is the gutter.

If someone calls himself a cockroach, he will remain in the gutter. Kangana had said that she does not consider herself a cockroach or a gutter dweller. She said that she was not talking about the youth of the entire country, but only about the people involved in that particular demonstration.
