According to investigation records, Dr. Karina Shuliak met Jeffrey Epstein in late March 2011. She was then 21 years old and it had only been nine months since she came to New York. She came to America from Belarus on a student visa so that she could complete her studies as a dentist. At that time, Epstein had pleaded guilty to prostitution of a minor girl in Florida. He had also been accused of sexually exploiting dozens of minor girls. A woman had arranged for them to meet. According to The New York Times, a woman had arranged for both of them to meet. The woman said that from time to time she was asked to bring other young women to Epstein. Trying to impress with expensive gifts: During the initial meetings, Epstein tried to impress Kareena by giving her expensive gifts and other facilities. In the very first meeting, he even offered to help her fulfill her dream of becoming a dentist. The emails also show that in 2012, Epstein helped Carina get into dental school at Columbia University. He had also decided to pay the full fees for three years of studies. Over time, Carina gained Epstein’s trust so much that she even started helping him manage his properties and employees. In 2012, Dr. Karina Shuliak applied for admission to Columbia University. By then her student visa had expired and she was staying in America longer than the scheduled time. According to US Justice Department documents, in early 2013, Jeffrey Epstein found a way to keep her in the US. At that time gay marriage was legally recognized in New York. Epstein believed that marrying an American woman would make it easier for Karina to obtain a green card and later citizenship. Under this scheme, he got Kareena married to one of his female employees. In an email, Epstein wrote that the fastest way to get a green card is gay marriage. Later, Democratic lawmakers in the US Parliament alleged that Epstein abused the US immigration system. He said that this marriage was only on papers. Dr. Karina Shuliak became a US citizen in May 2018 and divorced about a year later. Added Kareena’s name to the will before her death. Jeffrey Epstein was arrested in July 2019.
