Three women, including a pregnant woman, were attacked with knives on a street in Paris on Monday in an assault that was captured on camera. According to bystanders, the attacker said he was being “commanded” by Allah during the attack.
The incident took place at Porte de Clichy in northern Paris, near the Paris Court. Videos shared on social media showed the man on the pavement with long, dark hair, dressed in a cream-coloured tracksuit and carrying two butcher’s knives.
The footage showed the suspect moving along the street while holding the knives. The three women were targeted in the attack, including the pregnant woman.
Videos from the scene circulated online and showed the man walking along the pavement with the knives in his hands near the court complex.
In all, three women were attacked in Porte de Clichy on Monday, and the man seen in the videos was described as saying he was acting on a command from Allah while carrying two butcher’s knives near the Paris Court.
