First the cash check was done over video call, then after 40 minutes of monitoring, a young man arrived with 3 fake notes. Reporter messaged on number 722****572 – How many will you give for how much? The reply came the next day – you will get 10 lakhs for 1 lakh. All India Market ATM and bank deposits will be available. Hand to Hand will have to come to Akola, Maharashtra. Advance 10 thousand, delivery will happen only after that. All goods will be of first quality. The paper will be of best quality. On the third day, saw the money in the video call, then contacted another member of the gang. After reaching Alwar, the reporter messaged the mafia to reach there. After this the mafia made a video call. The mafia had kept its camera switched off during the video call. He asked to show the money. The reporter showed a bundle of one lakh rupees. When he did not believe the bundle of money, he asked to show it properly. Said- This is 50 thousand rupees. The reporter said- It is only Rs 1 lakh. Count and take it. After complete satisfaction, the mafia told the reporter to wait and send someone else. He took the reporter’s photo and sent it to his colleagues. When no one came for a long time, the reporter called the mafia again… After this, a call came from the number 772****583. After some time, a call came again from the same number. Kept sitting for 40 minutes, keeping an eye on Bhaskar team, the reporter sent his location. After this, he stood at a tea stall in front of a petrol pump in Alwar. When the reporter was not found at the location, the gang member called and asked about the location. The reporter talked about drinking tea in front of the pump. Both the reporters remained sitting there for 40 minutes. No call came. During this time many youth passed by by car, bike and on foot. There was a feeling that we were being watched. Called the reporter on foot, gave him samples of fake notes. The young man called again at around 6 in the evening. He was already roaming around us. When he was sure that the police were not with him, he signaled to us from a distance. Asked to leave the car and come straight on foot. The reporter set out on foot to meet the young man. After covering a distance of about 500 steps, a young man standing near a plot called out to the reporter. This young man had brought samples of fake notes. The young man gave a packet to the reporter. There were 3 samples of fake notes in the packet. One of Rs 500 and two of Rs 100. He also had a bottle of water and a packet of Oswal soap. After this the young man applied water and soap on the fake note. The note started turning red and the color started fading. Bhaskar kept following the team continuously, after which the reporter left from there on the pretext of checking the notes. As soon as Bhaskar team’s car left, four-five bikes and cars started chasing them. When Bhaskar team kept roaming in Alwar for a long time, the gang member called – Why are you not checking the notes? He was calling again and again. The reporter kept driving his car here and there in Alwar city for about an hour. Later, on the pretext of police strictness, the deal was stopped and they asked to talk the next day. When the reporter made the excuse of police, the young man claimed not to face any problem. Not only this, he also talked about leaving him outside Alwar. The reporter feared getting caught and postponed the deal for that day. On this, the gang member claimed to supply fake notes outside Alwar till Dausa border. IG said – the notes look like real.
