After the recent talks between America and Iran in Switzerland, America has relaxed some restrictions on Iranian oil for 60 days. PAK PM said – America-Iran talks successful: Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the talks held in Switzerland were positive. Both sides agreed to move towards a final agreement within 60 days, form a high level committee and continue technical level talks. 2. US gives Iran 60 days to sell oil: The Trump administration relaxed sanctions on the production and sale of Iranian oil and petrochemical products till August 21. America says that this decision was taken after Iranian consent to continue the movement of ships in the Strait of Hormuz. 3. Iran said- Army is fully alert even during talks: Ghadir Nezami, Deputy Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, said that despite the ongoing talks with America, there has been no reduction in the preparations of the army. He said that the Iranian army is fully prepared to respond to any threat. 4. Movement of oil tankers from Hormuz started increasing again: Two tankers carrying about 2 million barrels of oil have crossed the Strait of Hormuz. It has not been confirmed yet which country this tanker belongs to. However, the number of ships is still well below pre-war levels. 5. Ghalibaf and Araghchi leave for Oman after Switzerland talks: Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi have reached Oman after talks with America.
