Because, the free trade agreement between India and UK will come into effect from July 15. That means from this day 99% of India’s goods will be exported to UK at zero tariff. Whereas 99% of UK goods will be imported at 3% average tariff.

On June 17, one kg silver fell by Rs 1,491 to Rs 2,47,688. Earlier its price was Rs 2,49,179 per kg. At the same time, 10 grams of 24 carat gold fell by Rs 515 to Rs 1,50,148.
