The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) in Pakistan’s Balochistan has claimed to have killed 130 Pakistani soldiers. However, the Pakistani army has so far admitted to killing 14 soldiers.
According to Balochistan Post, BLA attacked 12 different places in Balochistan under ‘Operation Heroof’. BLA started the attacks late Sunday night and targeted several Pakistani army camps and police posts. They also blocked several highways.
BLA called ‘Operation Heroof’ the first step to capture Balochistan. The Baloch group has called this operation a milestone for the independence of Balochistan.

800 BLA fighters involved in the operation
BLA spokesperson Jiyand Baloch said that this was the first phase of Operation Harof. He claimed its success. Jiyand said that 800 fighters from his different squads took part in this operation. His fighters destroyed many military posts and camps in Balochistan.
He said that his ‘Majid Brigade’ of fidayeen fighters held the Bela camp in Balochistan for 20 hours. Here 68 soldiers of the Pakistani army were killed and dozens were injured.

Baloch police was already warned to stay away
The spokesperson said that they had already warned the local police not to help the Pakistani Army. He said that 22 police and tax collectors were temporarily detained and were released safely after the operation was completed.
The BLA said it considered the police and Levies forces as allies of the Balochs. However, the group warned that any person or organisation helping the Pakistani army would face severe consequences.

7 BLA fidayeen killed, including one woman
BLA said that 7 of its fidayeen lost their lives in these attacks. One of them was a woman, Mahal Baloch. BLA also released pictures of two fidayeen. According to Balochistan Post, Mahal became the third Baloch woman to lose her life in a fidayeen attack.
According to the report, the first Baloch woman was Jilan Kurd who carried out a suicide attack against Turkish soldiers in 1996. After this, in April 2022, Shari Baloch targeted Chinese citizens.
Claim of killing 62 soldiers in an encounter on the highway
The BLA spokesperson also said that its Fateh squad had blocked several highways in Balochistan. 62 Pakistani soldiers who came to remove it were killed by their fighters. The spokesperson said that they have removed the blockade after the completion of the first phase of their Operation Heroof.
BLA spokesperson said that they would soon provide more details about the attacks and reveal the identities of the fighters killed in ‘Operation Heroof’.
23 people were shot after closing the highway
According to news agency Reuters, at least 73 people have died in this attack in Balochistan. The first incident took place in Musakhel, Balochistan. 40 BLA fighters blocked the national highway on Monday morning.
They stopped buses, trucks and vans and made the passengers get off, checked everyone’s IDs and shot dead 23 people from Punjab province.
Late night, Pakistani Army issued a statement saying that 21 terrorists have also been killed in retaliatory action in Balochistan.
BLA has also posted a video of 25 vehicles being set on fire on the highway. In this, some gunmen are saying that now bad days have begun for the Pakistani Army. The Pakistani Army has been oppressing the Baloch people for years, now revenge will be taken for this.
