Fresh details have emerged in the alleged religious conversion case involving a TCS employee in Maharashtra’s Nashik, with accused Nida Khan reportedly admitting during police questioning that she taught the victim how to offer Namaz and regularly took her to her residence for religious instruction.
According to sources familiar with the investigation, Khan told police that she personally trained the victim in Islamic prayer rituals and identified the location where the sessions were allegedly conducted.
Investigators are examining the role of the accused and the circumstances under which the religious instruction was imparted as part of the ongoing probe.
Claims of Pressure During Ramadan
The investigation has also uncovered allegations that the victim was subjected to sustained mental pressure and was encouraged or compelled to observe religious practices associated with Islam.
According to sources, the victim was allegedly pressured to fast during the holy month of Ramadan.
During questioning, Nida Khan reportedly told investigators that the main accused in the case, identified as Danish and Tausif, allegedly insisted that the victim observe all 30 days of fasting during Ramadan.
Police are probing whether these actions formed part of a broader effort to influence the victim’s religious beliefs and practices.

According to investigators, Nida Khan allegedly held religious programmes and Islamic rituals at the victim’s house on multiple occasions.
The probe has further revealed that the victim was allegedly sent as many as 171 links containing religious content. Police are examining the nature of the material and whether it was part of a coordinated effort to encourage religious conversion.
Officials are analysing digital evidence, including messages, online communications and shared content, as part of the investigation.
