Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijit Dipke has taken a U-turn from his statement before returning to India on June 6. He released a video message on social media on June 4 at 10 pm and appealed to his supporters not to come to Delhi Airport. A few days ago, he himself had called upon his supporters to reach the airport. Now he has said that due to more support than expected, a large crowd may gather, which may cause problems to the common people and the security system. Dipke said that the movement will remain peaceful and supporters should directly join the protest. Earlier, he had said in a video message that he could be arrested from the airport as soon as he reaches India. CJP is going to protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar on June 6 demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. CJP said- Transfer of CBSE Chairman is just a show. CJP held his first press conference in Delhi on June 4. Three spokespersons of the party came to the public for the first time with their demands. He reiterated his demand for the resignation of the Education Minister and said that for this he is ready to talk to both the government and the opposition. CJP spokesperson Saurav Das termed the transfer of CBSE Chairman Rahul Singh and Secretary Himanshu Gupta as just a show. He said that accountability should be fixed in the education system and transfers alone will not solve the problem. CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke will reach Delhi from America on 6th June. After this they will go to Sansad Marg police station to seek permission to protest at Jantar Mantar. The party has appealed to the youth across the country to join this movement. The party claimed that climate activist Sonam Wangchuk may also join the protest. CJP leaders said that this movement reflects the growing dissatisfaction of the youth regarding the education system and political system. Cockroach Janata Party is a social media platform which came into existence after the recent cockroach comment of Chief Justice of India Surya Kant. CJP has more than 2 crore followers on Instagram. It has been created by Abhijeet Dipke. Abhijeet Deepke, who made CJP, is studying in America and has worked in AAP, is 30 years old. He is a digital media strategist resident of Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra. According to reports, he has studied journalism from Pune. Currently, he is doing Masters in Public Relations at Boston University, America. Abhijeet has been the social media strategist of Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party from 2020 to 2022. He used to create viral meme-based online campaign material for AAP during the 2020 Delhi Assembly elections. In an interview, Abhijeet told that for the sake of personal life and financial stability, he had left AAP and applied to Boston University. After getting admission, he shifted to America.
