A youth from Kurukshetra, Haryana died due to drowning in a swimming pool in Canada. The accident happened when the young man went into swimming to take a bath, but due to his feet slipping, he went into deep water. By the time he was taken out, he had become unconscious. His friends immediately admitted him to the hospital, where he struggled between life and death for about three days, but the doctors could not save him. Mandeep Singh had gone to Canada on study visa about two years ago. He was living in Brampton city and working in the field related to children’s health care. The family cremated his body today after it arrived from Canada. According to the family, Mandeep was to come in December this year. She was engaged and the family was making preparations for her marriage in December. But, before that he became a victim of an accident. His uncle Ram Kumar is the vice-president of Shri Sanatan Dharma Mahabir Dal Ladwa. He told that the entire family is deeply shocked by this incident. Relatives and acquaintances continue to reach the family home to console them. Turned 21 in December: Mandeep Singh celebrated his 21st birthday on 3 December last year. After completing his studies, he went to Canada with the hope of a better career. The family hoped that he would return home after securing his future, but his untimely death left all dreams unfulfilled. Deadbody reached India for Rs 14 lakh. Uncle Ram Kumar told that Mandeep had come to visit Hamilton city with some of his friends. Mandeep did not know how to swim. Here suddenly his feet slipped and he went into deep water. Mandeep’s body returned to India for around Rs 14 lakh. Mandeep’s elder brother Naresh works in the private sector. The engagement was done, the wedding was to take place in December. Uncle Ram Kumar further told that Mandeep’s father works in farming. Before going to Mandeep, he was already engaged to a girl from nearby village Halalpur. Now Mandeep had to return in December.
