KCET Result 2026 Live: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is expected to declare the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026 results soon, though an official announcement is still awaited. Once released, candidates who took the exam can view and download their KCET 2026 scorecards from the official website cetonline.karnataka.gov.in using their registration number and password. The results will also be available on kea.kar.nic.in and karresults.nic.in.

KCET is a state-level entrance exam conducted by KEA for admission to various undergraduate professional courses in the state. The exam was conducted from April 22 to 24.

Leading engineering institutions in Karnataka that admit students through KCET include the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Bangalore, Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Christ University (Kengeri Campus), JSS Science and Technology University, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, RV College of Engineering, among others.

Step 2: Click on the link labeled ‘KCET Result 2026’

Step 3: Enter your registration number and password in the login portal

Step 4: Click on ‘Submit’ and your KCET Result 2026 will be displayed on the screen

Step 5: Download and save the KCET scorecard for future reference

Minimum Marks Needed To Pass KCET

To qualify for the exam, candidates must achieve the minimum percentage prescribed by KEA. General category candidates need at least 45%, while those from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) must secure a minimum of 40%.

What After KCET Results?

After the result announcement, KEA will also publish the KCET 2026 cutoff marks and course-wise rank list. Following the announcement of the results, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will release the counselling schedule on its official website.

The KCET 2026 counselling process is expected to begin by this month soon after the results are out. Only candidates who qualify the exam will be eligible to take part in the counselling.
