A letter threatening blast has been received in the sports club near SP Stadium in Ahmedabad. After mentioning Dawood and Lashkar-e-Taiba in the letter, it is written that there will be a blast in the club on June 21.
Three Tanzanian businessmen were staying in the room of the sports club where the letter was found. After the room was vacated, when the cleaners were cleaning, a letter was found in the cupboard. All three are still in India.
After receiving the information, several teams including Bomb Squad, SOG, Dog Squad reached the spot and started investigation. But even after investigating for two hours, nothing was found.
Navrangpura Police, B Division ACP and fire brigade team reached the spot.
Police said- the room was vacated on May 30
On the whole matter, DCP Harshad Patel said that with the reference of Palak Doctor, some businessmen had stayed in the club room on May 29. He checked out on May 30th. While cleaning the room, a letter written in pencil was found, in which a threat was given to blow up the club with a bomb on June 21.
The police is talking to the person on whose reference the traders had stayed here. Investigation is underway as to who wrote and kept the letter.
Threat to bomb famous schools of Chandigarh
The team reached the school to investigate after the bomb threat.
Famous schools of Chandigarh have received bomb threats. Blast threats were sent to Delhi Public School (DPS) Sector-40, Strawberry Fields and Chitkara International School in Sector-25 through e-mail. After which police, bomb squad and forensic team reached the spot.
It was said in the e-mail that there will be blasts in schools at 1 o’clock. There will also be a blast in Haryana CM office at 3.11 pm. Chandigarh will become Khalistan. Continuous blasts will be carried out on the railway track from Ambala to Delhi. After receiving the threat, the school management immediately informed the police.
Police said- children and teachers are safe, there is no danger
After receiving information that Strawberry Fields High School in New Chandigarh, Mohali had received threatening emails, SAS Nagar Police immediately took action and started special security checking and strict surveillance in the school. Mullapur police station in-charge Amandeep Singh said that Mohali police assures parents, teachers and citizens that the safety of children is our biggest responsibility. The entire team is doing its work with great care, preparation and vigilance.
