To get a digital scanned copy, you have to pay ₹ 100 per subject, ₹ 100 per paper for re-totaling and ₹ 25 per question for re-evaluation. A student may have to spend up to ₹2000 to get his answer key checked correctly. When about four lakh students have given such applications, then the question arises that how much CBSE is earning from this process.

Rahul said – the possibility of wrong marking would increase

Raising questions on the education system of the country, Rahul wrote that when education is made a business instead of service, then the mistakes are not rectified but keep increasing. Children are having to pay the biggest price for this in the form of their time, confidence and future.

May 31: Rahul meets CBSE 12th students

Rahul Gandhi met the students of CBSE class 12th. He had posted a 1.30 minute video of his interaction with students on X. Wrote in the caption – The courageous youth who asked easy questions to CBSE and Modi government, got insults instead of answers.

In the video, the students told Rahul – When we asked questions about the answer sheet, we were called anti-national, deep state agents (spies), terrorists and Pakistanis. Rahul laughingly said – 17 years old deep state agents.

Vedant was also included among the students Rahul spoke to. A post by Vedant had gone viral, in which he had claimed that during re-evaluation, someone else’s copy was uploaded on the portal instead of his Physics copy. After Vedanta, many other students also made similar complaints. Read the full news…

Now read, what was the conversation between Rahul and the students-

  • Vedanta- My exam went very well but my marks were not good. After that we had the option to apply for a photocopy of our answer sheet if the marks were less. When I saw the photocopy of the Physics answer sheet, my handwriting was on the first page. There was someone else’s handwriting on the other pages. After this I saw that this was not my sheet, so I brought my problem to X. I got support from people there because this is a completely different matter.
  • Second student- But when people’s anger started increasing over this, in order to pacify us, they thought that we were some deep state agents who were trying to spread unrest in India.
  • Rahul (laughing) – 17 year old deep state agents, brother, show the faces of these terrorists.
  • Student- Soros.
  • Rahul (laughing)- Soros? Soros came in the middle of this. Pakistan, Soros, everyone has come.
  • Second student- They started calling us anti-national and Pakistani.
  • A male name- This is crazy.
  • Second student- This is very crazy, this is not right.
  • A male name- You guys are students. You have nothing to do with all this. You are asking about your answer sheet. That is all. Now suddenly you have become anti-national. You have to acknowledge the problem you want to solve. You are simply refusing to acknowledge the problem. You (government) are blaming the poor children. They are saying that students are deep state, spies and terrorists. Did you also say terrorist?
  • Student- Yes, everyone said.
  • Rahul (laughing)- Well done

Congress said- privacy of 20 lakh students is in danger

Congress has targeted the Central Government over the OSM process of CBSE, alleging that copies of about 20 lakh Class 12 students were available in the public domain. Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh has described this as a big data leak and a serious threat to the privacy of students.

May 27: Rahul had raised questions on the company doing OSM work.

On May 27, Rahul Gandhi had also raised questions on COEMPT, the company doing OSM work. He said that the COEMPT company to which CBSE has given the contract for digital evaluation of the exam, was earlier named Globarina.

Rahul questioned why the CBSE contract was given to COEMPT and on whose advice. Which rules and procedures were bypassed and the contract was given to this company? COEMPT was earlier embroiled in controversies under the name Globarina, why did CBSE not know this? What is the relationship between COEMPT management and Modi government.

CBSE said- rules were followed in awarding the contract to the company

However, CBSE rejected Rahul’s allegations. In a statement issued by CBSE Headquarters, it was said that all the General Finals Rules and prescribed procedures were followed in awarding the contract to COEMPT Edutech. The allegations are false, misleading and not based on facts.

CBSE says that this makes checking faster and more accurate and reduces errors in adding marks or data entry. After the results the opposite happened. Students complained about server down, payment failure and blurred pages.

COEMPT accused of irregularities in Telangana board exam

COEMPT Edutech is a company based in Darabad, Telangana. This firm does digital evaluation work in states like Telangana, Karnataka and West Bengal. In 2019, its name was Globarena Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

Then it was accused of irregularities in data processing in the 12th board exam in Telangana. That year, more than 3 lakh out of 9.74 lakh children in the state had failed.
