There was a stir in ‘Char Imli’, a posh and high-profile area of Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, when the minor daughter of a senior IPS officer committed suicide by hanging herself in her house. The age of the deceased was 17 years and she had completed her 11th class and reached 12th class this year.
According to the information, the deceased lived with her family in a government residence located at Char Imli. The family members were present in the house at the time of the incident. Meanwhile, the student went to her room and committed suicide by hanging herself. As soon as information about the incident was received, top police officials reached the spot. The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem and have started a detailed investigation of the case.
Habibganj police station in-charge Sanjeev Choukse said that at present no suicide note has been recovered from the spot. In such a situation, the reason behind the suicide is not yet clear. The matter is being investigated keeping every aspect in mind. The student’s mobile phone is being investigated. Apart from this, information about his friends, acquaintances and people in contact is also being collected. So that it can be found out whether the student was going through any mental stress or other problem or not.
Awaiting police post mortem report
Police said that the family is in deep shock since the incident. Despite this, the police are interrogating family members, domestic helps and close friends of the deceased to clarify every aspect. Only after the post mortem report comes, the picture regarding the exact time and condition of death will be completely clear. At present, further action will be taken only on the basis of investigation.
