A meeting of Union Ministers was held at Seva Tirth in Delhi on Thursday night under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The functioning of the government, performance of ministries and future plans were discussed in the meeting.
In the meeting that lasted for about four and a half hours, PM Modi said that ‘Developed India 2047’ is not just a slogan but the goal and promise of the government. He asked the ministers to work expeditiously and not allow files to be delayed.
PM Modi said that the functioning of the government should be made easier and more attention should be paid to reforms. He asked the ministers to go among the people and give information about the work and achievements of the government in the last 12 years.

The ministers left after the meeting at around 10.30 pm on Thursday night.
Ministries presented work reports
In the meeting, many big ministries including agriculture, forest, labour, road transport, foreign, commerce and power gave information about their work. The ministries whose performance was weak were instructed to improve their work and work in a better way.
According to sources, the meeting is being seen as a review of the functioning of the government. Union Cabinet Ministers, Ministers of State with Independent Charge and other Ministers of State participated in it. Apart from the Prime Minister, the Union Council of Ministers includes 30 Cabinet Ministers, 5 Ministers of State with independent charge and 36 Ministers of State.
This meeting has taken place at a time when there is increasing concern about oil and fuel prices in the world due to increasing tension in West Asia and the Strait of Hormuz.
PM’s visit to 5 countries discussed
Modi’s recent visit to five countries was also discussed in the meeting. The Council of Ministers congratulated PM Modi on the success of the tour. The Foreign Minister informed the ministers about the results and importance of the visit. Prime Minister Modi recently visited UAE, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway and Italy.
