A terrifying video has emerged of a father’s split-second decision to jump onto the tracks to protect his one-year-old child who fell off a platform while a train passed through.
In the video, a man could be seen clinging to his son as a train passed by. As soon as the train cleared, bystanders rushed in to help, quickly helping both onto the platform.

The Sun reported local media saying that the dad had been unable to get off during a scheduled stop, even though the train was running around 90 minutes late. As it began moving again, he tried to disembark while holding his child. The child reportedly slipped through his father’s grasp as he was getting off the train.
Without hesitation, the father jumped down onto the tracks, putting himself in immediate danger. He pulled his son close and lay low while shielding him as the train passed overhead. What could have ended in unimaginable tragedy instead became an extraordinary story of survival as both escaped miraculously without any injury.
As the video went viral on social, many praised the dad for his bravery.
One user wrote: “He is a real father.”
Another added: “This is heart-wrenching… happy they survived.”
