The airline said this was a ‘cartographic inaccuracy’ and such a mistake would not be made in future. This statue was also smuggled to America. The Antiquities Trafficking Unit of the Manhattan District Attorney has so far recovered more than 6200 cultural objects, whose total value is more than $485 million. Of these, more than 5900 items have been returned to 36 countries. Officials said that there are still many artefacts abroad, investigation and action will continue to bring them back.
