Rajasthan Royals defeated Lucknow Super Giants by 40 runs in the 32nd match of IPL 2026. Many big records and moments were seen in this match played at Ekana Stadium.

1. Vaibhav’s 500 IPL runs on 227 balls
Vaibhav Suryavanshi has completed 500 runs in his IPL career. He has become the batsman to achieve this milestone in the least number of balls in the league. He achieved this feat by hitting a four on the very first ball in the match against Lucknow.
Vaibhav has scored 500 runs in just 227 balls. He broke the record of Glenn Maxwell, who had completed his first 500 runs in 260 balls. However, in this match Vaibhav could score only 8 runs on 11 balls.
2. Jadeja won Player of the Match for the 17th time
Ravindra Jadeja won the Player of the Match (POTM) award for the 17th time in IPL. The special thing is that for the first time after 75 matches, he won this award for a team other than CSK.
Earlier, his 16 POTM awards had come for Chennai. Among Indian players, only Rohit Sharma (21), Virat Kohli (19) and MS Dhoni (18) are ahead of him.

1. Rishabh Pant took a brilliant catch with one hand.
Continuous action was seen in the second over of Mohammed Shami, but the biggest moment was the amazing catch of Rishabh Pant. Shami bowled a fast bouncer on the fifth ball of the third over, on which Yashasvi Jaiswal tried to play a hook shot.
The ball hit the glove and went high behind the wicket, where Pant jumped in the air and took a brilliant catch with one hand. His timing and agility surprised everyone. After this, Shami also dismissed Dhruv Jurel on the very next ball.
Pant jumped and caught Jaiswal on 22 runs.
2. Mohsin bowled a maiden to Vaibhav and also dismissed him.
Mohsin Khan bowled a wicket-maiden over in his very first over. Vaibhav Suryavanshi lost his wicket while trying to play a big shot on the last ball of the fourth over.
On a length ball on the off stump, he tried to play a big shot down the leg side, but lost his balance and could not time the ball properly. The ball which went towards cover was converted into a brilliant catch by Digvesh Singh Rathi while running behind.

4. Pant missed the runout
In the 15th over, Jadeja took a run by playing towards square leg on a slow ball from Mayank Yadav. After this, there was a big misunderstanding for the second run. Jadeja called for the first run, then sent it back to his partner Donovan Ferreira, who had reached halfway.
Nicholas Pooran’s throw from deep was very poor, after which Rishabh Pant caught the ball and blew the bails, but he also lost his balance. Meanwhile, Ferreira returned to the crease by diving.

7. When Puran was out, Jadeja celebrated by putting his hand in his pocket.

In the 16th over, Mitchell Marsh completed his half-century by hitting a six, but returned to the pavilion with the third ball.
