Akhtar Ali, former Deputy Superintendent of RG Kar Medical College, has lodged a criminal complaint against ex-principal Prof. (Dr.) Sandip Ghosh, alleging a large-scale corruption network involving illegal handling of biomedical waste, irregular tenders and unauthorized use of dead individuals’ bodies. Ali has sought protection from the High Court, citing threats to his safety due to his pursuit of a high-level investigation into Ghosh’s alleged wrongdoing.
