Nepal’s Prime Minister Balen Shah has disclosed his income. The Prime Minister’s Office said that most of Balen’s earnings come from digital platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Spotify and X.
According to the report, he has around Rs 91 lakh deposited in his bank, which has come from digital earnings. At the same time, his annual salary as Prime Minister is around Rs 7 lakh. His wife Sabina Kafle has jewelery worth about Rs 2.8 crore.
Shah has millions of followers on social media, due to which his digital earnings are continuously increasing. Before joining politics, he was a rapper and social media personality. He released the song ‘Jai Mahakali’ on the day he became Prime Minister.

Trump said- wanted to name Gulf of Mexico after himself
US President Donald Trump has said that he once considered naming the Gulf of Mexico ‘Gulf of Trump’, but later abandoned this decision. He said that perhaps this could have increased the dispute.
Trump told in an interview with Fox News that this decision was part of his bigger plan. On January 20, 2025, Trump signed an executive order to rename the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America.
Under this order, all government agencies within America were instructed to adopt the new name. The US Geological Survey also recorded this change in its records.
However, this decision was criticized internationally. Especially Mexico opposed it. Its President Claudia Sheinbaum said that the name Gulf of Mexico has been in use for centuries and is recognized all over the world.
