Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi launched its new 5G smartphone Redmi A7 Pro in India on Monday. This phone of budget segment has been introduced with big battery and latest Google Gemini and Circle to Search AI features. It will have 6.9 inch display, 6300mAh battery and 13MP camera. The phone has been introduced in two variants. Its starting price is Rs 12,499. The company is giving a discount of ₹ 1,000 in the initial sale. The sale of the phone will start from April 15. Design: This phone of Redmi comes with a modern design with armor-like strength and waterdrop notch display. It has three color options – Black, Mist Blue and Sunset Orange. Specifications: Large screen and latest operating system Display: It has a 6.9-inch HD+ LCD screen. A refresh rate of 120Hz has been provided for smooth visuals and a peak brightness of 800 nits has been provided to see the screen clearly in bright sunlight. It is blue light certified for eye protection. Performance: For better speed, it has Unisoc T8300 octa-core processor. Mali G57 GPU has been provided for graphics. It has support for 4GB virtual RAM along with 4GB physical RAM, taking the total RAM up to 8GB. Software: This phone works on the latest Hyper OS 3 based on Android 16. The company has promised 4 years of OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates. Camera: For photography, a 13-megapixel main AI camera and LED flash is provided on the back panel. An 8-megapixel front camera is available for selfie and video calling. Battery and Charging: It has a large 6300mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. It also has 7.5W reverse charging technology, so you can charge your second phone or earbuds as well.
