When will JEE Main Session 2 result be released?
NTA has released the answer key, question paper, and recorded responses for the JEE Main 2026 April session. Soon after the release, several questions became contentious, worrying many students. On reviewing the paper, students and experts flagged four questions that have attracted serious objections.
To begin with, doubts have been raised about the answer to a ‘Coordination Compound’ question in Chemistry from the evening shift on April 2. For a ‘Differential Equation’ question in Mathematics from the evening shift on April 5, students and experts claim there is a technical error. They argue that the question should either be cancelled or bonus marks should be awarded to all candidates.
Additionally, objections have been raised to a ‘Thermodynamics’ question in the Physics paper of April 6, as well as the option of a question from the ‘Hydrocarbon’ topic in Chemistry on the same day.
Students allege that the answers provided for these 4 questions are not completely correct.
The result for JEE Main Session 2 is expected to be released by April 20.
