Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched a scathing attack at the Trinamool Congress (TMC) while addressing a rally in Bengal, alleging that the party does not respect women and tribal communities.
“TMC doesn’t respect tribals or women; when President Droupadi Murmu visited Bengal recently, they insulted her,” he said at the Kushmandi rally. “It failed to win elections in other states, as it neither has intent nor policy,” he added.

“TMC keeps abusing me and makes false claims but fails to state what it did for Bengal in the last 15 years,” he added.

PM Modi outlined a series of promises for women in the state, saying the BJP would focus on safety, employment, and financial empowerment if voted to power.
He said that once a BJP government is formed in West Bengal, women will be recruited into the police force in large numbers.
He added that in states governed by the BJP, women feel secure and have better access to financial independence.
The Prime Minister further assured that the financial benefits currently being provided to women in the state would be doubled under a BJP government.
PM Modi said that those responsible for exploiting the youth will be held accountable while assuring government employees of a fear-free working environment under a BJP government.
He also promised that the 7th Pay Commission would be fully implemented in the state once the BJP comes to power, guaranteeing revised pay benefits for government staff.
Highlighting the party’s focus on young people, the prime minister said that the BJP is committed to providing strong government support to the youth and is moving ahead with determination to ensure better opportunities and growth in the state.
