A meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) was held under the chairmanship of PM Modi at the Prime Minister’s residence in Delhi on Wednesday evening at 7 pm. In this, the current situation in India due to the ongoing conflict in West Asia was reviewed. Many Union ministers including Amit Shah, S Jaishankar, Nirmala Sitharaman, Piyush Goyal, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, JP Nadda, Ashwini Vaishnav, Manohar Lal Khattar, Pralhad Joshi, Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu and Hardeep Singh Puri attended the meeting. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Principal Secretary to PM P.K. Mishra and Shaktikanta Das and Cabinet Secretary T.V. Somanathan also attended the meeting. During this, the essential needs of the common people like availability of food, LPG and petrol-diesel were discussed. PM Modi is holding CCS meeting for the second time in 10 days.
