Stock Market Holiday Next Week: Indian stock markets will operate for just three days in the upcoming week as multiple holidays shorten the trading window. With Shri Mahavir Jayanti on March 31 (Tuesday) and Good Friday on April 3 (Friday), investors will get fewer sessions to track and react to market movements.
This shortened trading week comes when the market is very volatile, heightening over the ongoing Iran-US war and related developments. Market retreated last week over the volatility, erasing gains.

Two Holidays, One Short Week
Trading will remain closed on Tuesday due to Shri Mahavir Jayanti, while markets will again be shut on Friday for Good Friday. This effectively leaves only Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday as active trading days.
The closure on Friday will lead to a three-day extended break when combined with the weekend.
