CGBSE Board Exam Paper Leak: Major news has emerged regarding the ongoing Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) board exams. The Class 12 Hindi paper has been leaked, leading the board to cancel the examination. This incident has raised serious questions about the administration’s security arrangements and has undermined the hard work of lakhs of students. As per an official notification issued by the board, the Class 12 Hindi exam has been rescheduled for April 10.

Reports suggest that shortly before the Hindi exam began, the question paper started circulating on social media platforms and WhatsApp groups. When the viral paper was compared with the original, substantial similarities were found. Considering the gravity of the situation, officials from the Education Department and the Board immediately convened a meeting, conducted a preliminary inquiry, and decided to cancel the paper.

The Hindi question paper will now be prepared afresh.

The Chhattisgarh Board has announced that new question papers will be set for the re-examination on April 10. Additionally, security arrangements at examination centres will be made more stringent than before to prevent any further incidents like this leak. The Board Secretary has appealed to students not to panic and to continue their preparations.

The Chhattisgarh government has taken the Class 12 Hindi paper leak very seriously, reported News18 Hindi. Police and cyber cell teams are working to trace the source of the viral paper. The Chief Minister has assured that anyone involved in this scandal will not be spared and will be booked under non-bailable sections.

The Chhattisgarh Board commenced the class 10 exams on February 20 and class 12 on February 21. All three exams including High School, Higher Secondary, and Diploma in Physical Education were held from 9 am to 12:15 pm. The class 10 exams ended on March 11 while the class 12 boards concluded on March 18. Looking at past-year trends, results are likely to be announced in May.
