Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav, trapped in check bounce case, has got relief from Delhi High Court. The court said during the hearing that since Rajpal has deposited a large part of the outstanding amount till now, he will not be sent back to jail for the time being. Now the next hearing of the case will be on April 1. However, the court made it clear that the next hearing date will not be postponed and a final decision will be taken on the case. The court has asked to see this as the last chance for Rajpal. Deposited a demand draft of Rs 25 lakh today. During the hearing, Rajpal Yadav’s lawyer informed the court that till now Rajpal has paid Rs 4.25 crore to the complainant company ‘Murali Projects Private Limited’. The lawyer submitted another demand draft (DD) of Rs 25 lakh in the court today. Along with this, an application for regular bail was also given in the court, because Rajpal’s interim bail was ending today. The court asked- What loan was taken? During the proceedings, the judge directly asked Rajpal Yadav whether he had taken a loan? On this the actor admitted that he had taken the money. Commenting, the court said that Rajpal had been given several opportunities to return the money earlier also, but he did not pay on time. The court has asked to see this as the last chance for Rajpal. Rajpal said – ‘I suffered huge loss due to going to jail’ Rajpal Yadav, while presenting his side, said that as per the order of 2016, he had to pay Rs 10.40 crore. He claimed that he had also given documents of property worth Rs 28 crore to one of his friends as security. Rajpal alleged that the other party was showing more interest in sending him to jail rather than collecting the outstanding money. He also said that his financial condition worsened due to going to jail earlier, due to which he suffered a loss of Rs 22 crore in a film project. Rajpal Rajpal Yadav, who was jailed in a check bounce case, is currently facing legal proceedings in a check bounce case of Rs 9 crore. This case is related to the loan taken for his 2010 film ‘Ata Pata Lapata’. Rajpal had borrowed Rs 5 crore from businessman Madhav Gopal Aggarwal. With interest and penalty this amount has now increased to Rs 9 crore. In the case, Rajpal Yadav had surrendered in Delhi’s Tihar Jail on 5 February. Now he has been granted interim bail till April 1.
