At least 400 people have been killed and around 250 injured in a Pakistani airstrike at a hospital in Kabul, Taliban spokesperson said. The Taliban government said that a large section of the hospital has been destroyed in a Pakistani airstrike and the number of casualties may increase. Pakistan, meanwhile, has denied the Afghan government’s allegations as baseless, saying that no hospital was targeted in Kabul. The alleged attack came hours after Afghan officials said the two sides exchanged fire along their common border, killing four people in Afghanistan, as the deadliest fighting between the neighbours in years entered a third week.
