The Indian Navy has announced the recruitment notification for Agniveer SSR, Agniveer MR, and SSS (Medical) Sailor posts for the year 2027. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website starting from March 14 until April 6, 2026. A correction window will be available on April 10 and 11. The examination is tentatively scheduled for May 2026, with results expected in June 2026.
Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment 2026: Educational Qualifications
– Agniveer MR: A Class 10 certificate with a minimum of 50 per cent.
– Agniveer SSR: A Class 12 certificate with Mathematics and Physics or a three-year diploma with 50 per cent.
– Agniveer SSR (Medical): A Class 12 certificate with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with at least 50 per cent.
Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment 2026: Selection Process
Selection will be based on a written examination and a physical test, including running, squats, push-ups, and sit-ups. Both male and female candidates are eligible.
The final merit list will be determined by the marks gained in the written examination, with applicants who pass the pulmonary function test (PFT), Physical Standard Test (PST) and medical examinations appearing on the list.

The examination fee for the posts of SSR, MR and SSS medical is Rs 550.

Step 2: Register yourself on the portal by entering the required details
Step 3: After logging in, click on ‘Current Opportunities’. Then click on ‘Apply’
Step 4: Fill out the form as directed and upload the necessary documents
Step 5: Pay the application fee before submitting the form
Indian Navy Agniveer Recruitment 2026: Salary Details
Selected candidates would be paid a stipend of Rs 14,600 for the initial training term. After completing the course, they will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix, with a salary ranging from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100, with a monthly Military Service Pay (MSP) of Rs 5,200 and Dearness Allowance.
