Tamil Nadu has released SSLC Class 10 hall tickets for 2026 exams starting March 11. Over 9 lakh students will appear for the exams.

The Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu, has released the hall tickets for the 2026 Class 10 board examinations. More than 9 lakh students will appear for the exams starting March 11.
The Tamil Nadu Secondary School Leaving Certificate examinations will be held from March 11 to April 6. The results are expected to be announced around May 20.
A total of 9.09 lakh students have registered this year. Of them, 8.82 lakh are regular candidates and 26,196 are private students.
Regular school students do not have to download the hall ticket themselves. Headmasters will log in through the official portal, download the admit cards in bulk and distribute them to students. It is mandatory to carry the hall ticket to the examination centre on all exam days.
Private candidates must download their hall ticket from the official website using their registration number and date of birth. They should take a clear printout and keep extra copies for safety.

Step 1: Visit the official website at dge.tn.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the “Hall Ticket” link available on the homepage.
Step 3: Select the TN SSLC March Hall Ticket 2026 link.
Step 4: Enter the required login credentials and submit.
Step 5: Download the hall ticket and take a printout.

Students have been advised to check all details on the admit card carefully, including their name, photograph, exam centre, subject codes and exam dates. In case of any discrepancy, they should immediately inform their school authorities for correction.
The exams will be conducted at designated centres across the state under strict supervision. Candidates must not carry electronic devices such as mobile phones or smart watches inside the examination hall. Students are advised to reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the reporting time to avoid any last-minute inconvenience.
