PM Narendra Modi spoke on phone with Brazilian President Lula da Silva on Thursday. The two leaders discussed advancing the interests of the Global South and dealing with the economic policies of the Trump administration. This is the third conversation between PM Modi and Lula in the last six months. After talking to Modi, Lula posted on X and informed that he will be on India tour between 19 to 21 February. Brazil-India Business Forum will be organized during his visit. Apart from this, APEX office will also be inaugurated in New Delhi, which will promote trade and investment cooperation. Prime Minister Modi wrote on X that it was a pleasure to talk to Lula. The two leaders reviewed the strong momentum achieved so far in the India-Brazil strategic partnership and agreed to take it forward. Modi said he looked forward to welcoming Lula to India soon.
