New Delhi:
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results of the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination (I), 2025. The merit list is now available on the official website, upsc.gov.in.
According to the official information, 535 candidates have qualified based on their written exam performance and have been shortlisted for the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview. Among them, 473 are male candidates and 62 are female candidates. These candidates are eligible for admission to various defence academies for courses beginning in 2026.
Selected candidates can enroll in the following academies and courses:
1. Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun – 123rd Short Service Commission Course (Men)
2.
3. Air Force Academy (AFA), Hyderabad – Flying Training
4. Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai – 37th Short Service Commission (Men) Course and 31st Short Service Commission (Women Non-Technical) Course
5. The government has allotted 275 vacancies for Short Service Commission (Men) and 18 vacancies for Short Service Commission (Women Non-Technical).

- This result is provisional and does not include the results of the medical examination.
- Final selection will depend on the candidate’s medical fitness and eligibility verification.
- Verification of educational qualifications will be done by the respective Service Headquarters.
- Marks will be available after the final result is declared.
