The US military on Monday attacked a boat suspected of drug smuggling in the eastern Pacific Ocean. Two people died in this attack. America’s Southern Command has given this information. According to the army, this attack was carried out in the international maritime border and no American soldier was harmed in it.
The US Southern Command said on social media that this action was taken on the orders of Defense Minister Pete Hegseth. The army says that the boat which was targeted was linked to banned organizations and was being used in drug smuggling.
America has described this attack as part of ‘Operation Southern Spear’, the aim of which is to stop drug smuggling through sea route.
According to the US administration, so far 107 people have died in attacks on boats related to drug smuggling under this operation. America has described these people as ‘unlawful combatants’ and has said that under a secret legal decision it can carry out such attacks without the permission of the court. For this reason, questions are being raised on these actions.
Some members of the US Parliament and human rights organizations are expressing concern about these attacks. He says that killing people without any legal process is a serious matter and it should be investigated. Earlier on December 22, America had attacked a small boat in the same area, which was accused of drug smuggling.

2 Indian girl students killed in car accident in America, were studying masters
Two girl students died in a horrific road accident on Sunday in California, USA. They have been identified as Pulkhandam Meghna Rani (25) of Garla in Mahabubabad district of Telangana and Kadiyala Bhavana (24) of Mulkanur.
