BJP is talking about eliminating the idea of equality of states, equality of languages and equality of religions. BJP has completely captured the institutions of the country.
Rahul said- Democratic institutions are not able to work independently. Agencies like CBI and ED are being used as political weapons. We are not just fighting BJP, we are also fighting against their capture of Indian institutional structures and agencies.

- Large scale employment in India can be generated only through manufacturing. But BJP has blocked this by focusing more on some big business groups like Adani and Ambani, who emphasize trade rather than production. Due to this, small and medium industries suffered losses due to policies like demonetization and GST.
- What is happening is a conflict between two visions of India. One approach believes in rule by a strong leader (BJP and RSS), while the other believes that India should be run through dialogue, consensus and the voices of its diverse states and cultures.
- India is such a large and diverse country that its future cannot be decided by just one person. Our Constitution considers it to be a union of states, where everyone’s opinion should be heard. But the new government (BJP) does not want to discuss it.
