India defeated South Africa by 30 runs and won the five-match T20 series 3-1. With this victory on Friday, Team India achieved the feat of winning the eighth consecutive T20 series. India’s last defeat in the T20 series was against West Indies in August 2023.
While chasing India’s target of 232 runs in the match played in Ahmedabad, South Africa could score only 201 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. In the match, Hardik Pandya scored the second fastest T20 fifty for India by scoring a half-century in just 16 balls.
