Air India announced on Tuesday night that a technical problem affecting check-ins at several airports had been completely fixed. The disruption, caused by a third-party system, had delayed flights of multiple airlines earlier in the evening.
In a statement on X, the airline said, “The third-party system has been fully restored, and check-in at all airports is functioning normally. All our flights are operating as per schedule.” Air India also thanked passengers for their patience.
The airline had earlier explained that the fault had led to delays across several carriers and that its airport teams were working continuously to support passengers and restore normal operations
