South films have often been accused of objectification of women. There have been many debates and discussions on this issue. Now actress Raashi Khanna has expressed her opinion on this issue. Rashi is a well-known name in both Bollywood and South cinema. He admitted in one of his interviews that this happens not only in South Industry but also in Bollywood.

In an interview given to Zoom, on the portrayal of women in South cinema, Rashi said – ‘It is not just about the South. I see this a lot in North India also. It completely depends on the choice of the actor. Some people are comfortable with this, some are not.

I have done so many commercial films in the South that I feel I should step into Hindi as well and work on content. I have no problem in doing commercial work, but I also have a limit. Every actor has different limits, and this is his identity.

Rashi was recently seen in the film 120 Bahadur with Farhan Akhtar.

She further said- ‘It is very important that I am comfortable in what I am doing. If I feel that some line is being crossed and I might get ripped off, I will say no. Every actor has a different comfort zone, and I don’t judge anyone.

Rashi will soon be seen in the film ‘Ustad Bhagat Singh’. Pawan Kalyan and Sri Leela starrer this film will be released in theaters in April 2026. Apart from this, she will also be seen in Prime’s series ‘Farzie Season 2’ opposite Shahid Kapoor. Its shooting will start next year.
