Rumor of bomb in flight coming to Hyderabad, diverted
A flight coming from Bahrain to Hyderabad was diverted to Mumbai after receiving a bomb threat on Sunday. The flight landed safely in Mumbai. After investigation this threat turned out to be false. Police said that Rajiv Gandhi International Airport was informed about the bomb in an email. Police have registered a case on the complaint of airport officials.
30 Hazari Court of Delhi convicted the shopkeeper who encroached on the road and footpath.
Delhi’s Tis Hazari Court has convicted a footwear shopkeeper from Madipur for encroachment on the road and footpath in B-Block market. The court of Tis Hazari Judicial Magistrate First Class Komal has convicted shopkeeper Lekhraj. The court said – In view of the undisputed testimony of the government witness and the weak evidence placed before the court by the accused, the crime is proven. The guilty Lekhraj will be punished as per the relevant law.
In fact, on December 21, 2024, at around 9 pm, shoes and slippers were being sold on a wooden plank outside a shop called Gaurav Footwear on the footpath in Madipur Market, West Delhi. Due to this, traffic was being disrupted and people were facing difficulty in commuting. When the police asked the shopkeeper for permission or license to keep the goods by illegally placing a plank on the footpath, shopkeeper Lekhraj did not present any document.
The testimony of the police investigating officer, the main witness in the case, proved important in the court. The investigating officer told the court that the accused encroached on the footpath and refused to remove his belongings or show his license despite requests from the police.
