Shark Tank India judge and Emcure Pharma executive director Namita Thapar has expressed displeasure over Zoho founder Sridhar Vembu’s advice to marry and have children in their 20s (20-29 years). He said that women face the most trouble in performing this ‘duty’.
He linked this to Infosys founder Narayana Murthy’s suggestion of working 70 hours and said that such leaders should speak responsibly. Focus on real issues like women’s health and job participation, rather than imparting knowledge on personal life. This video of Namita is going viral on social media.

Namita shared a video on her social media handle, in which she termed Sridhar Vembu’s advice as outdated and harmful for women. He said that such things put the most pressure on women.
Because they are the ones who have to face difficulties like periods, pregnancy, child rearing and menopause. Namita said that leaders should use their voice responsibly.

In fact, in an event at IIT Hyderabad, actor Ram Charan’s wife and industrialist Upasana Kamini Konidela had said, ‘The biggest insurance for women is to save their eggs. With this you can marry as per your wish. She can decide when to have children. When you become financially independent.
