The trailer of Ranveer Singh’s most awaited film Dhurandhar has been released on 18 November. After the release of the trailer, popular influencer and activist Dhruv Rathi criticized it and wrote that Aditya Dhar (director) has crossed the limits of cheapness in Bollywood. After Dhruv’s post surfaced, Ranveer Shorey came to the defense of the film, director and Bollywood and reprimanded the influencer.

Criticizing Dhurandhar, Dhruv Rathi wrote from the official X account, ‘Aditya Dhar has really crossed all limits of badness in Bollywood. The extreme violence, bloodshed and torture shown in the trailer of his new film is just like watching an ISIS beheading video and calling it ‘entertainment’.

Dhruv further wrote, ‘They have such a blind lust for money that they are deliberately poisoning the minds of the new generation. Desensitizing them to violence and glorifying unimaginable torture. This is an opportunity for the censor board to show what they have more problem with, people kissing or seeing someone being skinned alive.

After Dhruv Rathi’s post came out, many people reminded him of the post when he had called the violence-filled film Gangs of Wasseypur as the most important film of India. On this Dhruv wrote, “I was wrong, then I did not understand how deep an impact such films have on the society.”

On this post of Dhruv Rathi, actor Ranveer Shorey wrote sarcastically, “Friend, you are wrong most of the time, but it is amazing that you have made it your career.”

In response to Ranveer’s post, Dhruv Rathi wrote, “It is better than that career where one has to fake fights in Bigg Boss to earn a living.”

Actor Ranveer Shorey did not stop here either and wrote in reply, “The fights in the Bigg Boss house are not as fake as you are, friend. Keep it up.”

When fans advised Ranveer Shorey not to quarrel with Dhruv Rathi, the actor concluded by writing, “I would never have quarreled with this idiot, if he had not tried to ruin a film and a filmmaker. Enough of his nonsense propaganda. He is earning clout and money by sitting in Europe at the cost of Indians and their interests. I feel sorry for those Indians who follow this idiot.”
