The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had arrested Al Falah chairman Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui on November 18.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has tightened its grip on Faridabad’s Al Falah University, which was the ‘haven’ of the terrorist doctors of Delhi blasts. ED on Wednesday produced university chairman Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui in Saket court. After hearing the arguments, the court handed over Jawad to ED on 13-day remand.

The investigating agency told the court that Siddiqui misled students and their parents through Al Falah University by calling it a recognized institute and made illegal income of Rs 415.10 crore from them. According to ED, Siddiqui’s family is settled in Gulf countries. He was also preparing to flee abroad.

If he had not been arrested, he could have escaped investigation by fleeing abroad. Could have destroyed the evidence. ED told the court that after the 1990s, Al Falah Group grew rapidly and became a large educational institution. However, there is a large gap between the group’s financial position and its assets, which raises doubts.

On the other hand, intelligence sources said that 10 people working or studying at Al Falah University are missing. Unable to contact them. Among these, 3 are Kashmiris. Their phones are switched off. Joint teams of Jammu-Kashmir and Haryana Police are busy searching for them.

Investigation of voice tone of the video of Dr. Omar making suicide bomber

A day earlier, a video of Dr. Umar stating his intentions of becoming a suicide bomber had gone viral. If sources are to be believed, NIA is suspicious about the tone of this video of Dr. Omar. The terrorist is fluent in English, but his artificial tone is visible.

It neither looks Indian nor American or British. The cyber and language forensic team of NIA is investigating where this special accent of English is taught. Information has also been sought from Military Intelligence to identify this accent.
