Property worth crores of former District Panchayat President and Samajwadi Party leader Gulshan Yadav from Kunda of Pratapgarh has been attached. This major action has been taken under the Gangster Act against Gulshan Yadav who is absconding and has a reward of ₹ 1 lakh. Police have sealed his three properties located in Prayagraj and put up notice boards.
Let us tell you that Pratapgarh Sangramgarh police of the district has taken this big action. Three different properties of absconding Samajwadi Party leader Gulshan Yadav have been attached. The action was taken in Church Lane of Colonelganj police station area of Prayagraj. This action was taken by the order of DM Pratapgarh dated 23 April 2025. This action was taken under Gangster Act 14(1). The police team under the leadership of Sangramgarh police station in-charge Satyendra Singh Bhadauria carried out the attachment action.
Sangramgarh Police has attached three properties of 438 square meters of Gulshan Yadav located in Church Lane. The estimated value of these attached properties is ₹ 4 crore 10 lakh. The police also made an announcement and after attachment, sealed the property and put up a notice board. Police has made it clear that legal action will be taken against tampering with this confiscated property.
53 criminal cases registered
A total of 53 criminal cases are registered against Gulshan Yadav, former District Panchayat President of Kunda. He is a criminal carrying a bounty of ₹1 lakh and is currently absconding. He had contested the 2022 assembly elections against Raja Bhaiya on Samajwadi Party ticket. This major action has been taken under Gangster Act 14(1), which is to curb organized crimes.
