The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai has launched a new Blended Post Graduate Programme in Management (MBA–BPGP) for working professionals who wish to enhance their managerial and leadership skills without taking a break from their careers.

The two-year course combines academic learning with real-world business application, offering participants the flexibility to earn a management degree while continuing their jobs.

According to IIM Mumbai, the MBA–BPGP will follow a blended learning model that includes live online classes and two one-week campus immersion sessions — one at the mid-point and another at the end of the programme. These sessions will allow participants to interact with faculty and experience campus-based learning.

Curriculum And Learning Focus

The programme includes over 1,200 hours of interactive sessions covering subjects such as Operations, Marketing, Finance, Data Science, and Sustainability. It emphasises the use of strategic and analytical thinking in solving business challenges, allowing learners to apply new concepts directly in their workplaces.

Admission will be based on a valid CAT, GMAT, GRE, or IMAT (IIM Mumbai Admission Test) score obtained within the last five years, along with academic performance and work experience.

Industry-Relevant Skills

The MBA–BPGP aims to develop key competencies in strategic thinking, leadership, and innovation. It also includes modules on digital transformation and sustainability, aligning the curriculum with evolving industry requirements.
