Haryana is on high alert after 9 people died in a blast near Red Fort metro station in Delhi. Security has been increased in the districts falling in NCR including Gurugram. Checking is being done at public places including bus stand, railway station, metro station.

Leaves of police employees have been cancelled. Employees and officers have been told to take permission before going out of the district. On the borders of Jhajjar, Gurugram and Sonipat districts adjacent to Delhi, vehicles are being given entry only after checking.

Haryana DGP OP Singh wrote on X, “Haryana is on high alert regarding the incident in Delhi. People are requested to remain calm. If you see any suspicious person or unclaimed object, inform on dial 112. All police officers are present in their respective areas. Vehicles are being checked on the inter-state border. Public transport, parking areas, hotels and Dharamshala are also being checked. Special vigilance is being taken in NCR districts.”

Now know what is the situation in the districts of Haryana….

  • Faridabad district police spokesperson Yashpal said that a high alert has been issued due to the Delhi blast. Police are patrolling in different parts of the city.
  • Jhajjar Police Commissioner Dr. Rajshree Singh said that orders from DGP have come regarding the blast in Delhi. All SHOs, CIA units and other teams involved in curbing criminal activities have been alerted. The police have been alerted on the border.
  • Panipat DSP Satish Vats said that vehicles coming from Delhi are being monitored. The police team has been alerted. Suspicious vehicles are being monitored. Panipat GRP station in-charge Chandan Singh said that checking is being done in trains. Along with this, passengers are also being monitored at the station.
  • Ambala RPF Inspector Ravindra said that an alert has been received from the headquarters. Due to which Ambala Cantt Railway Station has been put on high alert.
  • Sonipat GRP police station in-charge Vijaypal says that no orders have been received yet, but monitoring is being done at his level.
  • Rewari Police has set up checkpoints at 56 places for checking. The vehicles are being thoroughly checked. SP Hemendra Meena said that Rewari police is completely alert. Orders have been given for investigation at all the checkpoints.
  • In Sirsa, the police is also investigating at the railway station, bus stand and hotels. ID proofs of people staying in hotels are being checked.
  • Police teams are checking all the vehicles at Tikri border in Bahadurgarh. Every vehicle is being sent ahead only after noting its number.
  • Apart from checking at public places in Panchkula, police is also checking at hotels and dharamshalas. Identity proofs of the people staying here are being checked.
