The police of Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir, which borders Punjab, has released sketches of four suspects on its social media account. A reward of Rs 5 lakh has been announced for the person giving information about each suspect.

According to the police, these four suspects were seen in Malhar, Bani and Siozdhar areas of district Kathua. On the other hand, according to intelligence sources, an unknown number of terrorists are camping in the upper forest area of district Kathua and their movement has been noticed in Bhaddu, Billawar, Bani and Basoli areas of district Kathua. They are said to be planning to cross the Atal bridge built on river Ravi connecting Himachal Pradesh and Punjab and go towards Mamun Cantt of Pathankot and their possible target is to carry out a major incident before 15 August.

High alert in Mamun Cantt area
According to sources, they are likely to take the route from Billawar via Atal Setu to Mamoon Cantt and from Billawar via Lakhanpur to Mamoon Cantt via Defence Road to go towards Mamoon Cantt. In view of which, the area has been put on high alert. Apart from Lakhanpur and Madhopur, Dunera outpost of Dhar police station of district Pathankot has also been put on alert.
Suspects have been seen in Pathankot
Let us tell you that earlier seven suspects were seen in the village of Fangtoli adjacent to Pathankot Mamoon Cantt on the evening of 23rd July. When four of these suspects asked for drinking water from the village woman Seema Devi and their three companions were standing under a tree at some distance. Two days later, on the night of 25th July at 2.30 am, three suspects came to the house of Balram Singh in the same village and asked for food. Now two days ago, a person has come forward to say that he had seen six seven suspects in the village of Ramkalwan in the border area Bamiyal.
