1. Preparation to reduce crude oil imports from Russia: Reliance will stop buying oil from Russian government company; Impact of American sanctions
India is now preparing to cut the import of crude oil from Russia. According to news agency PTI, the government has taken this decision after America’s new sanctions on Russia.
In fact, America had banned all transactions with Russia’s state oil companies Rosneft and Lukoil. These restrictions are coming into effect from November 21.
According to data research firm Kpler, India’s major refiners will no longer buy oil from Russia due to these US sanctions. Reliance Industries will stop purchasing oil from Russia’s state oil company Rosneft.

At the same time, silver has increased by Rs 2,092 to Rs 1,48,242 per kg. Earlier its price was Rs 1,46,150 per kg. On October 17, gold had made an all-time high of Rs 1,30,874 and on October 14, silver had made an all-time high of Rs 1,78,100.
