‘दीवानगी दीवानगी’ में नजर आए थे 31 स्टार्स: फराह ने बताया ओम शांति ओम के गाने का किस्सा, बोलीं- देव आनंद ने मना कर दिया था

Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s film Om Shanti Om was released in the year 2007. About 31 film stars were seen in the title song of this film. The film’s director Farah Khan told how she and her team convinced 31 stars to come together for the song ‘Deewangi Deewangi’.

Farah Khan said in a conversation with Film Companion that many more stars were supposed to appear in Om Shanti Om’s song ‘Deewangi Deewangi’, but due to some reasons they could not come. Fardeen Khan, when he was coming to shoot for us, was arrested at Dubai airport. Aamir Khan refused to come. Dev Anand Sahab told me that he does not do cameos.

Farah further said that Shahrukh Khan was given the responsibility of bringing Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu. I am still waiting for his arrival. Shahrukh told me that he would go to her house to pick her up. I waited for 5–6 days, but I could not proceed with the shoot.

Apart from this, Farah told that when the shooting of the scene of Dharam ji was going on, the scene where Salman jumps was not planned at all. He had finished his shooting four hours ago, and while we were taking Dharam ji’s shot, he was standing behind the camera and just jumped. Then Saif Ali Khan also jumped in. This was all improvised.
