Lakhvindra alias Lakha is a resident of Titaram village of Kaithal.
Ambala unit of Haryana STF has arrested Lakhvindra alias Lakha, a close aide of gangster Lawrence. Lakhvindra was registered in Sector 9 police station of Ambala in the year 2023 for possessing weapons, threatening, causing harm and attempting extortion along with his associates.

He was arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in America, after which he was deported from America to India on 25 October. Haryana Police had taken him into custody at Delhi Airport itself. Today he will be presented in the court.
Lakhvindra is a resident of Titaram village of Kaithal and was active in America since 2022 on the instructions of gangster Anmol. Several cases related to extortion and firing are registered against him in Haryana and Punjab.

Cases registered against Lakhwinder alias Lakha in 5 districts
- Allegations of extortion-threat in Gohana: According to Haryana Police records, cases are registered against Lakhwinder in 5 districts. The first case was registered at City Police Station Gohana on 14 February 2023. This was FIR number 85/2023, in which he was accused of extortion and threatening under sections 384 and 506 IPC. Police investigation revealed that Lakhwinder had tried to demand money by threatening a person.
- Case of death threat in Maham: The second case was registered on 21 March 2023 at Meham police station (Rohtak). This was FIR number 106/2023, in which sections 384, 387, 506 and 120-B IPC were imposed. In this case, Lakhwinder was accused of conspiring with the gang, extorting money and threatening to kill.
- Businessman threatened in Yamunanagar: The third case was registered at Yamunanagar City police station on 22 March 2023. In FIR number 221/2023, a case was registered against Lakhwinder under sections 387 and 506 IPC. It is alleged that he threatened a businessman over phone and warned him of dire consequences if he did not pay the money.
- Extortion charges in Kaithal: FIR number 93/2023 was registered at Kaithal Sadar police station on 29 March 2023. In this too, he was accused of attempting to extort money by threatening to murder under Section 387 IPC.
- Case registered under Arms Act in Ambala: The most serious case against Lakhwinder was registered on 27 April 2023 at Sector-9 police station of Ambala. This was FIR number 83/2023, in which action was taken under sections 25 and 54 Arms Act, and sections 285, 384, 387, 427, 506 and 34 IPC. According to the police, in this case Lakhwinder was accused of possessing illegal weapons, threatening, damaging property and extortion along with his associates. Ambala STF has arrested him in this case.
Red corner notice issued in 2024 Considering Lakhwinder’s criminal record, on 26 October 2024, Interpol issued a red notice against him, so that he could be caught. FBI arrested him in America. From there he was sent back to India on 25 October.
